I’ve done 26 book reviews and there are plenty to chose from! The Wandering Princess by Edward Hanson definitely tops the list for me. Other favourites are In Haste with Aloha and Anna of Saxony: The Scarlet Lady of Orange.

I’m going to choose Alison Weirs Queens of the Conquest. My favourite time period by one of my favourite authors. Her research is always impeccable and her writing style is so readable. I’d also include the Twilight of Empire by Greg King and Penny Wilson – a reexamination of Mayerling. All time favourites would have to include Katherine by Anya Seton and Marie Antoinette by Antonia Fraser.
