Anne Boleyn is perhaps the most famous English Queen, but we actually know very little about her childhood. Falcon’s Rise is a novel about Anne’s early years, first at Hever Castle and then at the court of Margaret of Austria. It’s a marvellous story and quite well written. You can certainly tell that the author has done her research into the times and the local history and it’s almost like you’re walking the halls of Margaret of Austria’s court with Anne. I loved it and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
